Titti Faranda - Attraversando il ponte della vita
Piazzale Porta Pia 116 - Rome

"Titti Faranda - Attraversando il ponte della vita" was an Artshares project presented in Rome from 21 to 26 October 2024. The exhibition invited visitors to enter the poetic universe of Titti Faranda, where everyday materials are transformed into artworks through a process of regeneration, memory and sustainable imagination. The project explored the boundary between object and artwork, showing how discarded materials can lose their original function and acquire a new identity. Plastics, fabrics and metal sheets, once connected to industry and consumption, were brought back to life through the artist’s gesture, becoming carriers of an ecological and conceptual message. At the centre of the exhibition was the idea of the bridge as a metaphor: a passage between past and future, waste and rebirth, fragility and resilience. Faranda’s works do not simply assemble materials; they create a regenerated world in which art becomes a way to look beyond appearance and rediscover the hidden value of things. Through this project, Artshares presented the artist’s practice as a reflection on transformation: the ability to turn what seems useless into something essential, and to recognise beauty in the act of giving new meaning to matter.
